Speaker(s)
Description
As an experienced labor relations practitioner, you need to be aware of the changes resulting in this subject matter area under the new administration. Mr. Schwartz, Mr. Rider and Mr. Schimansky spent portions of their long Federal government careers in Federal sector labor law in prior administrations of the FLRA and FSIP and, therefore, provide a unique perspective from inside and outside of those organizations. The focus of this session will be on the new Biden executive orders and their impact; what remains in effect of the Trump administration executive orders; implications from the new members of the FSIP and the FLRA Presidential appointees; and what's remaining from the recent FLRA policy statements.
